Arc Raiders Tackles Duplication Glitches with Fresh Patch
Good news for Arc Raiders fans! Embark Studios has rolled out a new patch that seems to have put a serious dent in the pesky duplication glitches that have been plaguing the game for months. Players have been dealing with these annoying exploits, but it looks like the studio is finally getting a handle on them.
In a recent thread on Reddit, a user shared some intel from a duper’s Discord server, mentioning that one of the sellers of a notorious duplication tool has decided to halt their operations. This tool made use of Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to manipulate the game, but with the latest updates, it seems that cheaters are feeling the heat.
Ossen, the community lead at Embark, recently mentioned in the patch notes for their Store Update 1.34.0 that they’ve implemented a fix targeting some of these duplication exploits. In addition, the June 16 patch focused on bolstering Denuvo Anti-Cheat measures, which, according to the developers, aims to clean up the game by catching those involved in cheating and preventing future incidents.
However, players in the community have been left frustrated, as it feels like every time one glitch is fixed, another pops up in its place. But this time, it seems cheaters are actually worried about the steps Embark is taking. One dupe user even called their attempts to bypass the new fixes “a long shot,” expressing how complicated it is to create a new working tool. That’s a win for fair players!
Moreover, Embark is preparing to introduce a new kernel-level anti-cheat system that will aim to bring cheaters down for good, enhancing both detection and precision. It’s a promising time for Arc Raiders, and players are hopeful that the tide is turning against these annoying exploits.
What a wonderful information
