Crimson Desert’s Latest Update Brings Pinball Madness and Wyvern Riding to Life!

Crimson Desert is back in the spotlight with its new update, Patch 1.10.00, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride! The game is on a mission to be everything all at once, and this latest patch adds some seriously fun elements. First up, we now have pinball! Yes, you read that right—pinball has made its way into the game, along with a new game mode called “Orb Roll.” Not to mention, you can now raise a baby wyvern that you can eventually ride. How cool is that?

For those who have been adventuring in Crimson Desert for a while, you might remember that adorable baby wyvern Pearl Abyss introduced recently. Initially, this little guy was just there to look cute and float alongside you. But with today’s update, he’s ready to get serious! Feed him enough goodies until he hits Level 3, and he will transform into a majestic beast that you can actually use as a special mount. Just a heads up though—he loses some of that cuteness when he grows up, so think carefully before you go all-in on this little dragon.

And it’s not just the wyvern getting an upgrade; remember the Kuku Bird Chick? Just like the wyvern, if you treat this pet well and give it plenty of food, you’ll be able to hop on its back too. It’s almost poetic how we nurture these creatures with the expectation of some return; it really reflects life, doesn’t it?

Now, about that pinball game—why not, right? After introducing a claw machine that drove players crazy, it seems like pinball was a natural fit. You can find this new minigame at the inn near the Deleysian Institute. Plus, every time you play, you’ll earn tokens that you can exchange for some pretty sweet items at the newly opened Marni Token Exchange. What’s on the menu, you ask? Well, there are Material Boxes of Fortune, Abyss Artifacts, two types of Artifact Chests, a helmet, 13 different furniture pieces, and three gear crafting recipes.

And if pinball isn’t your thing, check out the “Orb Roll” minigame located at the Great Gate of Uradvah. While I haven’t had the chance to try it out yet, it promises its own set of rewards, including more Material Boxes, Abyss Artifacts, golden apples, and assorted decorations for your in-game home.
