Spotted by a keen-eyed Redditor known as MaximumCompany8921, the Easter egg features some dialogue that unmistakably points to Square Enix’s iconic title. One of the lines humorously states, “(Seems to be motivating you to play a certain MMORPG…)” which fans might recognize is hinting at Final Fantasy 14 and its generous free trial.

For those who don’t know, the character Temmie, who appears in both Deltarune and Undertale, is actually based on Temmie Chang, one of the talented artists behind the games. The in-game Temmie even sports a couple of extra ears in this chapter, suggesting her fondness for the Miqo’te race from Final Fantasy 14—unless she picked up some bunny ears from the in-game Gold Saucer, of course!
