Diablo 4: Pakro Woh Machli! – Your Guide to The One That Got Away Quest
Hey, fellow demon slayers of Sanctuary! While Diablo 4 usually has us busy with slashing hordes and looting legendary gear, sometimes a different kind of challenge pops up. We’re talking about fishing, believe it or not! If you’ve already helped Shi Yugong with his previous task, you’re probably now staring down “The One That Got Away” quest. And if you’re like us, you’re wondering where on earth to find those elusive rare catches.
Don’t worry, we’ve got your back! This quest asks you to reel in six specific yellow-rarity fish from across the vast and dangerous lands of Sanctuary. It might sound like a daunting task, especially with all the horrors lurking about, but the good news is that Diablo 4’s fish are region-specific. This means you don’t need to hunt for a super secret pond; any fishing spot in the right region will eventually give you what you need if you keep at it. Just keep casting that line!
Ready to become the ultimate angler of Sanctuary? Here’s where you can find each of those slippery targets:
-
Augur of Civo (Dry Steppes): Head over to the Dry Steppes. We found ours chilling on the coast, just northwest of Ken Bardu. Cast your line there, and with a bit of patience, this rare beauty will be yours.
-
Morayaga (Fractured Peaks): For this icy catch, venture into the Fractured Peaks. Look for a bridge spanning a river northwest of Kyovoshard. That’s your sweet spot for reeling in the Morayaga.
-
Crookfish (Hawezar): The swampy regions of Hawezar hide the Crookfish. Make your way to Backwater and find a pier. The murky waters there are home to this particular specimen.
-
Zakarati (Kehjistan): In the desert lands of Kehjistan, the Zakarati awaits. Teleport to the Iron Wolves camp and then head southwest. You’ll find a pond there that’s perfect for catching this fish.
-
Neme-Senga (Nahantu): When you reach Nahantu, specifically the Kurast Docks, seek out a pier. The Neme-Senga is known to frequent these waters, so get ready to cast!
-
Drakonbeard (Scosglen): Finally, for the Drakonbeard, you’ll need to explore Scosglen. Look for a pier located in the northwest part of the region. This is where you’ll find your last rare fish.
A Crucial Tip: Don’t forget this vital step! Once you’ve caught a rare fish, you MUST consume it from your inventory. This adds it to your codex and, more importantly, registers it for your quest progress. If you skip this, it won’t count, and you’ll be wondering why your quest tracker isn’t moving!
Once you’ve successfully gathered and consumed all six rare fish, head back to Shi Yugong. He’ll be thrilled with your efforts, rewarding you with some sweet XP and gold. Plus, you’ll unlock the next quest in this intriguing fishing saga, “The Fish of Dreams.” Happy hunting, and may your lines always be tight!
