Diablo 4 Season 15 to Bring Back Iconic Items and New Features
Get ready, Diablo fans! Season 15 of Diablo 4 is on the horizon, and it’s bringing back some legendary gear that will have you feeling nostalgic. Among the items making a comeback are the infamous Stone of Jordan and the Ring of Royal Grandeur, staples from the series that many players hold dear.
While Season 14 hasn’t been the best chapter for Diablo 4, Blizzard is stirring up excitement by allowing players to get a sneak peek of Season 15 through a public test realm from August 4 to August 11. This is a great opportunity to see what’s on the way!
As shared in an official blog, this upcoming season will introduce several new systems and changes, including fan-favorite items returning as Unique gear. A total of ten items from the earlier Diablo games will make their grand entrance, sure to excite long-time fans.
Among these “Legacy Uniques,” five will be usable by all classes, while the other five will be class-specific. The highlighted items include:
- Leoric’s Crown (Helm)
- Nemesis Bracers (Gloves)
- Ring of Royal Grandeur (Ring)
- Stone of Jordan (Ring)
- Squirt’s Blouse (Chest)
For players who enjoy specific classes, here are some of the Legacy Uniques making their way back:
- Arioc’s Needle (2H Polearm) – Barbarian, Druid, Spiritborn
- Henri’s Perquisition (Offhand Focus) – Sorcerer, Necromancer, Warlock
- In-Geom (1H Sword) – Barbarian, Druid, Rogue, Necromancer, Paladin, Warlock
- The Furnace (2H Mace) – Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, Warlock
- Messerschmidt’s Reaver (2H Axe) – Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Paladin, Warlock
For many, the Stone of Jordan will bring back memories from Diablo 2, while Diablo 3 veterans may fondly recall the Ring of Royal Grandeur and Leoric’s Crown. Each of these items is bound to evoke some serious nostalgia!
Although Blizzard hasn’t revealed all the Unique affixes for these items just yet, they did drop some teasers. For instance, Leoric’s Crown will function as a jewelry piece that boosts the effectiveness of socketed gems by an impressive 75-100%. Meanwhile, Henri’s Perquisition promises to enhance Dexterity significantly, and the Nemesis Bracers will summon an elite enemy pack when interacting with Shrines.
But that’s not all! Season 15 will feature more activities in the “Overland” category, like challenge dungeons hidden throughout the open world and exciting demonic ambushes. Plus, you can use the same character across multiple seasons thanks to a new “Rebirth” feature.
A fresh power system called Soul Splinters will offer players greater flexibility in gear customization. Each splinter comes with powerful effects, but be aware—they also carry a downside. For example, some splinters may boost your maximum health at the expense of your primary resource, while others might increase damage but drastically lower your critical strike chance. It’s all about finding the right balance!
Blizzard has clarified that what we’ve seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg for Season 15. More details and surprises are set to be unveiled at BlizzCon on September 12-13.
With all these changes, including improvements to the much-discussed Mythic items, Season 15 looks to be a thrilling chapter in Diablo 4. So gear up and prepare for some epic adventures ahead!
