However, one fan raised an interesting question on Reddit: “Did Mysterio really think this through? What would he have done if he faced a real threat?” They point out that while he had impressive tech like a mocap suit and drones, it seems unlikely he would have used them in a real showdown.

Some fans chimed in with their thoughts, suggesting there might be a straightforward explanation. One user speculated, “I’m pretty sure he could have used his drones to back him up in a serious fight, just like he did with Peter.” Another added, “People forget those drones weren’t just for show; they were armed Stark drones. If Quentin had embraced the tech instead of pretending to be Doctor Strange, he could have been a real menace.”
