First Look at Avengers: Doomsday Concept Art Unveils Iconic Heroes

Marvel Studios has just dropped some exciting concept art for the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, giving us our first glimpse at a slew of familiar faces in their superhero get-ups. Fans were treated to a sneak peek during the Bilibili World 2026 event held in Shanghai, where MCU head honcho Kevin Feige showcased this stunning artwork. Attendees quickly shared photos on social media, and eventually, a more polished version was released by Andy Park, who was in charge of visual development before parting ways with the studio earlier this year.

While this concept art doesn’t reveal every surprise Marvel has in store, it certainly highlights some of the major players we can expect to see in the film. With the release date fast approaching, fans are eager for more than just static images, but there’s still plenty to dissect in this artwork.

On the left side of the illustration, we can spot members from the Thunderbolts and the New Avengers, including Yelena Belova (played by Florence Pugh), the Red Guardian (David Harbour), and U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell). Joining them are returning favorites like Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and a fresh-haired Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Over in the bottom corner, we see the X-Men making their presence known, featuring Cyclops, Beast (Kelsey Grammer), Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming), and Gambit (Channing Tatum).

Shifting our gaze to the right, the art showcases the cast from The Fantastic Four: First Steps, alongside Black Panther (Letitia Wright) and Shang-Chi (Simu Liu). However, the centerpiece of this illustration is undoubtedly Robert Downey Jr. making his grand return as Doctor Doom, which is bound to draw crowds to theaters this December. His menacingly gleaming metal mask is a sight to behold! And for those keeping track, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) also makes an appearance, still in the position we last saw him in after Loki Season 2.

Though this teaser image won’t satisfy fans craving a full trailer, it’s definitely a step in the right direction as we edge closer to Doomsday’s release. The trailer timing remains uncertain, but mark your calendars for December 18, 2026—when this epic team-up hits the big screen.

As we wait for more details, fans can also gear up for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to premiere on July 31, 2026. Stay tuned, as more thrilling updates are sure to come!
