His real name is David Anthony Burke, and he’s a 21-year-old singer from the U.S. Recently, he’s found himself in some serious legal trouble concerning a tragic incident involving a 14-year-old girl. Due to this controversy, many in the Fortnite community have been vocal about their dislike for the D4vd emotes and jam tracks in the game, calling for Epic to remove them altogether.

The D4vd items in question include the popular Feel It and Trophy Drop emotes, along with the What Are You Waiting For and Locked and Loaded jam tracks. After receiving multiple complaints, Epic finally responded and confirmed they will be rolling out a refund system for these cosmetics.

In a recent tweet from the Fortnite Status account, they acknowledged the community’s concerns and mentioned that they’re planning a series of updates. Starting April 28th, players who purchased any of the D4vd items can access an immediate self-service refund. For those who want their money back now, Epic has opened up support for refund requests.
