Forgotten Classic Returns: Are You Ready?

So, it looks like Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor is making a comeback to Steam and GOG later this year. Initially released in 2001, it was overshadowed by the brilliance of the Baldur's Gate series and quickly faded into obscurity, mainly due to its numerous bugs and lack of depth in gameplay. However, SNEG is bringing it back and promising some updates for modern systems. I can’t help but feel a mix of nostalgia and skepticism—while I love the idea of revisiting these old gems, I wonder if they’ll really do justice to a game that was pretty rough around the edges. Do you think Ruins of Myth Drannor can surprise us this time around, or is it just a relic best left in the past?
