Get Ready for the Excitement of Summer Game Fest 2026!
The much-anticipated Summer Game Fest 2026 is just around the corner, kicking off this Friday with the legendary Geoff Keighley at the helm. This weekend is packed with a series of live streams, with Sunday being the highlight, featuring the Xbox showcase followed by our very own PC Gaming Show, which promises to be loaded with exciting titles!
While we can’t spill all the beans about what to expect, we’ve got some juicy tidbits on what’s on the agenda. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the games that might steal the spotlight this weekend.
Summer Game Fest | Friday @ 2 pm PT
First up, we’ll be treated to the first gameplay reveal of Star Wars: Zero Company. Earlier this year, we had a detailed look at this XCOM-inspired tactical game, and our correspondent Ted was buzzing with excitement after seeing it in action. So, this one is a definite must-watch!
Then there’s the mystery of Guild Wars… 3? ArenaNet has been teasing something related to the beloved franchise, but they’re keeping their lips sealed about whether it’s the third installment. Fingers crossed!
Don’t miss out on Clutch, a racing game that follows the gripping journey of sibling prodigies in the R1K racing circuit, and Blood Message, NetEase’s first AAA single-player venture that follows a messenger during the Tang Dynasty in China.
We might even see something related to Among Us. Remember the hype from the early 2020s? It looks like that nostalgia might just come back!
Future Games Show | Saturday @ 12 pm PT
Moving on to Saturday, expect a deep dive into Exodus, a Mass Effect-esque RPG from the folks at Wizards of the Coast. Plus, there’s a showcase of over 40 games including Halloween: The Game, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, The Pines, and Aniimo.
Xbox Games Showcase | Sunday @ 10 am PT
Sunday is where the magic really happens as we gear up for the Xbox Games Showcase. We can look forward to an in-depth presentation of Gears of War: E-Day right after the main event. Expect updates on State of Decay 3, which has been generating buzz lately, along with a look at the remake of the original Halo titled Halo: Campaign Evolved.
Further excitement is around Clockwork Revolution, the upcoming action RPG from inXile. Obsidian might surprise us with their next project, and we could even see a trailer for Marvel’s Blade from Arkane. Although a new trailer for Fable 4 is a possibility, it was recently delayed, so we might not hear much about it this time.
And what about The Elder Scrolls 6? With Todd Howard wishing he hadn’t teased it so soon, I wouldn’t hold my breath. If Bethesda does make an appearance, I’d place my bets on remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
A notable appearance by new Xbox head Asha Sharma is also on the cards, seemingly aiming to maintain that public presence we loved with Phil Spencer.
PC Gaming Show | Sunday @ 12 pm PT
Last but certainly not least, our PC Gaming Show is slated to feature over 50 games this year. While I can’t reveal all the surprises, expect to see titles like Control Resonant, Total War: Warhammer 40,000, and Valheim among many others. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it!
So, gear up, gamers! This weekend is going to be a thrilling ride filled with exciting game reveals and announcements! Let’s dive into the action together!
