Jackass: Best and Last – The Final Ride with Our Favorite Daredevils

IGN Live recently got a wild visit from the legendary Jackass crew, featuring Steve-O, Wee Man (Jason Acuña), Poopies (Sean McInerney), and Jasper, who hyped everyone up for their upcoming movie, Jackass: Best and Last. Steve-O kicked things off with a playful jab, mentioning that every Jackass flick has claimed to be the last, but this time he promises it’s the real deal, dubbing it a “beautiful celebration” of their entire journey.

When it comes to the outrageous stunts in the new film, Steve-O didn’t hold back. He shared a hilarious tidbit about a scene involving a robot and some rather unconventional antics. “It was important!” he insisted, adding, “I’m just trying to make putting things up our butts cool again.” Classic Jackass humor!

Jasper and Poopies, who joined the crew in the previous installment, Jackass Forever, were asked about their excitement to be back for this final ride. Jasper was amusingly honest, admitting, “I barely survived the fourth one!” and even felt a wave of fear when he got word that he’d be returning. Poopies, on the other hand, was all in, saying he’s eager to prove his worth and keep the Jackass spirit alive.

The crew took a stroll down memory lane, sharing some of their favorite moments from Jackass history. Wee Man reminisced about his infamous “Yoga Ball” stunt, where he faced a charging bull while clutching a red yoga ball. His thoughts during that moment? “I just wanna live. Let me live!” And there was Steve-O, recalling his “Alligator Tightrope” stunt from the first movie where he attempted to walk a tightrope over… well, let’s just say it was a risky situation, to say the least!

Reflecting on how far they’ve come since their scrappy beginnings, Wee Man pointed out that the basic formula hasn’t changed: “It’s still push record, do what you’re gonna do.” However, Steve-O noted how production has ramped up dramatically over the years—from just a simple camera to now using semi-trucks and trailers.

The guys also touched on the joy of watching Jackass in theaters with a crowd. Jasper got a bit sentimental, recalling how he used to watch the earlier movies with his dad, who’d be baffled by the wild antics on screen. “What the f**k is this?! What is this s**t?” he remembered his dad saying, not knowing someday he’d be part of the madness, like the “Tarantula Helmet” scene in Jackass Forever.

Being part of Jackass isn’t without its messy moments—literally. When asked about dealing with being covered in… well, unpleasant substances, Steve-O humorously shared his thoughts on building immunity, saying, “The immune system is like a muscle that needs to be worked. The more you’re covered in s**t, the stronger you’ll be!”

And for those hard hits to the jewels, Wee Man’s sage advice was straightforward: “Don’t think about it. Just take it. Relax and let go, and that’s when it’ll be the best moment.” Wise words from a veteran of the chaos!

As Jackass: Best and Last gears up for its June 26, 2026 release, the crew shared how they hope to be remembered. Steve-O reflected thoughtfully, saying, “Many people grapple with real-life issues, and while we can’t solve their problems, we offer a delightful escape.”

This final chapter of Jackass promises to be a memorable ride filled with laughter and audacity. Get ready for a wild send-off as the crew says goodbye to a franchise that has entertained millions!
