Krysten Ritter to Make a Comeback in Dexter: Resurrection Season 2

It looks like we haven’t seen the last of Krysten Ritter in the world of Dexter! Despite her character’s shocking end in season 1, she’s all set to make a return in Dexter: Resurrection season 2. According to a recent announcement, Ritter will appear as a guest star, reprising her role as the lively and fierce Lady Vengeance, Mia Lapierre.

Fans have been buzzing about her character’s fate since the first season wrapped up. Spoiler alert – Mia supposedly died while serving time in prison, but there’s been plenty of speculation that she might have faked her own death. In the season finale, there’s a brief moment where Dexter finds Mia’s file, which intriguingly lists her status as “active.” This has led fans to wonder if the whole prison guard bribery scenario was just a ruse, with some hints that a former assistant of the antagonist, Prater, could have helped Mia escape.

Additionally, Uma Thurman is confirmed to return as Charley, and we’ll also see Brian Cox stepping into the role of The New York Ripper and Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer. However, it’s not yet clear whether Ritter will appear as Mia or a different character altogether, which adds even more excitement to her return.

Michael C. Hall, who stars as Dexter, announced back in October that we can expect Dexter: Resurrection to continue, even after the cancellation of the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin. As for the exact release date of season 2, details are still under wraps. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as we gear up for this thrilling return!
