One Piece Season 3 Wraps Filming with Exciting New Additions
Great news for One Piece fans! The production of Season 3 has officially wrapped, and we’ve got a brand new cast photo to celebrate this milestone. In the latest pic, our favorite Straw Hat crew members—Luffy, Nami, Sanji, Zoro, Usopp—and the exciting addition of Vivi are all posing in front of a mural showcasing Sir Crocodile, a significant villain from the series.
As many of you know, Sir Crocodile, known as Mr. 0, was unveiled in the dramatic finale of Season 2, and he’s set to play a crucial role in the upcoming season as the plot dives deeper into the Alabasta arc.
Season 3 was given the green light back in August 2025, and filming kicked off in South Africa later that year in November. Considering Season 2 premiered in March 2026, a 2027 release for the new season seems pretty swift—especially when many shows these days make us wait for years!
The cameras may have stopped rolling, but the adventure for Luffy and the gang is just beginning. Season 3 promises to take our beloved Straw Hat crew, along with Tony Tony Chopper, to Vivi’s homeland of Alabasta, where they aim to liberate it from tyranny.
Excitingly, new cast members joining the adventure include Xolo Maridueña, who will play Portgas D. Ace, and Cole Escola as Bon Clay. Additionally, fan-favorites Joe Manganiello, Lera Abova, and Sendhil Ramamurthy are now promoted to series regulars, adding even more depth to the storyline.
While we don’t have a specific release date just yet, it looks like we can expect One Piece Season 3 to hit our screens around Spring 2027. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as we gear up for this epic new chapter in the One Piece saga!
