Owlcat Brings Fresh Blood to Warhammer 40K: New Companions for Rogue Trader & Dark Heresy Revealed!
Salamualaikum, PakGamers! Hope you’re all geared up for some fresh grimdark news straight from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Owlcat Games, the masterminds behind some epic CRPGs, have dropped some exciting reveals for two of their upcoming projects – a new companion for the Rogue Trader DLC and a first look at a recruit for the highly anticipated Dark Heresy.
Now, let’s be real, Owlcat games often start their journey a bit… rough around the edges. But give them time, and they usually polish up into absolute gems, thanks to a bunch of patches and expansions. Many of us who jumped into Rogue Trader at launch might remember a few bumps, but for those who waited, the experience is now much smoother. And it seems Owlcat isn’t done yet, because even more content is on the way!
First up, for all you Rogue Trader fans, get ready to welcome a new face aboard your voidship. A character trailer has just revealed **Eogann Februs**, a Tech-Priest, joining your crew in the upcoming “The Infinite Museion” DLC. Now, if you were secretly hoping for something truly outlandish – maybe an Ork, a T’au diplomat, or even Trazyn the Infinite himself – then another Tech-Priest might feel a little… familiar. We already have one in our ranks, after all. But hey, the Adeptus Mechanicus is vast and full of mysteries, so who knows what unique skills and quirks Eogann Februs will bring to the table!
But wait, there’s more! Owlcat also pulled back the curtain on a companion for their upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy game. Revealed in the playable alpha, meet **Haymar Devos**, a Guardsman hailing from the legendary death world of Catachan. For those not deep into Warhammer lore, imagine a planet that’s basically one giant, super-dangerous jungle straight out of a Predator movie. Every single soldier from Catachan is basically an ’80s action hero, built tough and ready for anything – they even have their own Rambo-esque legend called Sly Marbo! So yeah, recruiting a Catachan Guardsman sounds incredibly cool and promises some serious firepower and grit for your Dark Heresy squad.
Initial reports from those who’ve gotten their hands on the Dark Heresy alpha are super positive, calling it everything a CRPG fan could want. Both “The Infinite Museion” DLC for Rogue Trader and the full Dark Heresy game are currently listed as “coming soon” on Steam, so keep those eyes peeled for release dates!
