Palworld Community Manager Completes Crimson Desert in Just 189 Hours!
In a jaw-dropping feat, John “Bucky” Buckley, the community manager for Palworld, has managed to achieve 100% completion in Crimson Desert in a mere 189 hours! While I haven’t even dipped my toes into the game—mostly because I value my sleep too much—Bucky seems to have taken the challenge head-on.
In a recent social media update, he proudly announced, “I have 100% Crimson Desert.” According to him, this game has rekindled a sense of wonder and adventure that he hasn’t felt since his days with Morrowind. He described it as “a truly breathtaking experience,” claiming it’s easily his game of the year. Quite the endorsement!
However, after taking a closer look at his achievement screenshot, my initial admiration was replaced by sheer disbelief. That 100% meter shows he’s completed all 34 achievements, but the playtime displayed—189.1 hours—gave me the chills! That’s dedication!
Even the developers of Crimson Desert were blown away, responding with enthusiasm: “Wow, in under 200 hours? That’s impressive! We’re glad you enjoyed the journey.” It’s not every day you hear about someone sinking that many hours into a game so soon after its release, especially given that Crimson Desert has only been out for just over a month.
But here’s the kicker: Bucky mentioned that hitting 100% doesn’t mark the end of his adventures. He still has over 20 hours of side missions left to tackle! “Such a fantastic game. Genuinely made me feel like a little kid again,” he said, hinting that the fun doesn’t stop at completion.
While I haven’t given Crimson Desert a shot yet, it sure sounds like an exciting title worth checking out, especially since it has already sold over 5 million copies in just a few weeks. As for me, it looks like I have a long way to go before I can boast about achieving 100% in Crimson Desert!
