Spidey and Punisher Unite Against Hulk in Brand New Day Clip Revealed at Comic-Con

The excitement is building as Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to swing into theaters soon, and it seems the buzz from Comic-Con has only added to the hype! During the annual event, Marvel mastermind Kevin Feige and Jon Bernthal, the man behind the Punisher, took to Hall H to unveil a thrilling new clip from the upcoming movie.

Bernthal, the sole cast member from Brand New Day present on stage, kicked things off with a bit of playful banter with Feige that had the crowd chuckling. But once the clip rolled, it was clear that this wasn’t merely a casual chat—it was a sneak peek into an action-packed sequence featuring our favorite web-slinger and the formidable Hulk.

In the footage, Spider-Man finds himself in a heated battle with the Hulk when the Punisher makes his grand entrance. Armed with an automatic rifle, Frank Castle takes aim at the Hulk, but his bullets just bounce harmlessly off the green giant’s head. Meanwhile, Spidey cleverly tosses a web grenade at the Hulk, managing to temporarily suspend him in the air.

“What are you doing here?” Spidey asks, frustration evident in his tone. The Punisher, unfazed, responds with a smirk, “What do you think I’m doing here? Saving your ass.” The banter continues as Spidey warns him that the situation is out of his league. But just when things heat up, the Hulk breaks free and charges towards them.

Thinking quickly, Spidey webs Frank and slides him just in time to avoid the Hulk’s wrath. In a surprising twist, Frank tosses a bomb at the Hulk, to which the massive creature raises an eyebrow and questions, “Really?” Without missing a beat, Frank fires at the bomb, creating a massive explosion that sends Hulk reeling.

The two heroes take cover as Peter finds out Frank has been sent by someone to keep an eye on him. “She tells me I gotta come watch you,” Frank says with a hint of mischief. “Did she actually say that to you?” Peter replies, and the playful exchange continues with Frank teasing him about blushing, calling him “daffodil.”

The clip wraps up with Spidey attempting to re-attach an inhibitor device on the Hulk, but the Punisher wants no part of that action. “Are you just trying to get out of fighting the Hulk?” Spidey asks, to which Frank simply shrugs, “I guess so.”

As anticipation builds for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which hits UK cinemas on July 29 and US theaters on July 31, fans are eager to see how this adventure unfolds.
