Sydney Sweeney’s Cameo Cut from The Devil Wears Prada 2
Big news for fans of The Devil Wears Prada! It seems a brief appearance by Sydney Sweeney didn’t make the final cut of the much-anticipated sequel. Sources have revealed that Sweeney filmed a scene to reintroduce Emily Blunt’s character, but it ultimately didn’t fit the vision for the movie, leading to its removal.
In the scene, Sweeney was set to play herself, but after reviewing it, the team behind the film decided it was best to cut it entirely. Sometimes, even the most exciting cameos can hit the editing room floor!
On a related note, Sweeney is keeping busy with her acting career. She’s currently involved in the production of Netflix’s live-action Gundam film, which has kicked off this week in Queensland, Australia. This project sees her alongside Noah Centineo, who is gearing up to portray Ken Masters in the upcoming Street Fighter film, which was also filmed in Australia late last year.
So, while we won’t be seeing Sydney in The Devil Wears Prada 2, it looks like she’s got plenty on her plate to keep fans excited!
