Valve Tackles HDMI 2.1 Issues for Steam Machines

Great news for Steam Machine users! Valve has officially declared that the HDMI 2.1 issues that have been causing headaches for gamers are now completely sorted out.

A developer from Valve shared that the HDMI 2.1 Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) functionality is fully operational in the latest software updates. This means that gamers can now enjoy smoother gameplay on FreeSync monitors and HDMI Forum VRR-compatible TVs without any hiccups.

But that’s not all—Valve also mentioned that they’re working on bringing full HDMI 2.1 Fixed Rate Link (FRL) support in an upcoming update. So, it looks like there’s even more to look forward to for Steam Machine enthusiasts!
