Fans Encouraged to Dive into Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Before GTA 6 Launch

Exciting times are ahead for fans of the pirate adventure, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced! Game director Richard Knight is hoping players will be deeply engaged with the game when GTA 6 drops this November.

In recent years, Ubisoft has shown a commitment to extending the lifespan of their Assassin’s Creed titles. Games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Odyssey have received numerous updates and support long after their launches. While specific plans for Black Flag Resynced’s post-launch roadmap haven’t been publicly shared yet, it seems like a solid extension of support is on the horizon.

When asked about the possibility of supporting Black Flag Resynced for at least a year, Knight mentioned he couldn’t officially confirm anything. However, he did hint that it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect ongoing support as they “definitely need to fix bugs” and enhance the game’s overall experience. “Sorry to anyone encountering bugs; they’re painful for all of us involved,” he added. Quality-of-life improvements are already on the table, including a New Game Plus mode and an option to hide Edward’s blowpipe.

Knight didn’t provide a specific timeline for future updates, but he playfully urged fans to keep playing as they gear up for the upcoming GTA 6. This could mean that seafaring adventurers might be treated to fresh content before the end of the year.

As for downloadable content (DLC), while nothing is confirmed, Knight revealed that some team members have been brainstorming ideas. This future content will likely revolve around Edward Kenway’s journey, but don’t hold your breath for a return of the Freedom Cry expansion, just yet.

Interestingly, the day-one DLC that many criticized has surprisingly raked in close to $1 (approx. Rs 280) million for Ubisoft, according to analyst estimates. This shows the potential for a robust gaming community around Black Flag Resynced!

Note: PKR figures are approximate, based on a rate of Rs 278.00 per USD. Exchange rates fluctuate — please check the latest dollar rate for exact pricing.
