I just wrapped up the beta for World of Warcraft: Forever, and wow, this game has me feeling all sorts of excited and nervous. I loved leveling up my warrior and shaman, but what’s really sticking in my mind is the game’s unique endgame design. With no expansions ahead, the thought of a constantly evolving but horizontally progressing experience is mind-boggling! I appreciate their approach to keeping older gear relevant, but will the mechanics hold up over the long haul? As someone who’s been through so many expansions, I’m really curious: can Blizzard pull off this ambitious plan, or is it destined for chaos? What do you all think?
