Hey everyone, just heard some pretty sad news that it feels like BioWare, the legendary RPG studio behind some of our all-time favourites, is effectively being dismantled by EA after years of issues. It's a massive blow considering their incredible impact on so many iconic games like Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, which truly shaped the RPG genre as we know it. Seriously, without their influence, titles like Baldur's Gate 3 or The Witcher might not even exist in the way they do today, as so many studios built on their foundations. Even though their recent games haven't been everyone's cup of tea, it's still incredibly heartbreaking to see such a foundational studio reach this point. I'm gutted, remembering all the amazing experiences and stories they gave us over the decades. What are your thoughts on this situation and BioWare's lasting impact on gaming?
