Okay, so I just read about BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk finally speaking out after his old studio got shut down, and man, he hit the nail on the head! He basically said that most industry executives have never actually made a game themselves and have no clue how complex the development process really is. This explains so much about why we see great studios like BioWare get dismantled, especially with big parent companies chasing quick profits and simple "sports and shooters" models, as Zeschuk mentioned about the new owners. It’s absolutely infuriating to see creative genius squandered because the people at the top only care about spreadsheets, not the passion or the art. It's a huge wake-up call that the soul of gaming is constantly under threat from corporate cluelessness, and frankly, I completely agree with him.
