Greetings, fellow gamers. There's some notable news circulating regarding Jagex and the popular idle game, Melvor Idle. Jagex has officially partnered with Games by Malcs to transform Melvor Idle 2 into an official RuneScape Adventure spin-off, a significant step considering the game's fan-made origins. This collaboration brings official branding and support to a title deeply inspired by RuneScape, promising overhauled visuals and a higher level cap. Intriguingly, the developers have confirmed no microtransactions for the sequel, which is a fantastic commitment given the ongoing discussions around monetization in the gaming industry. I personally find it quite positive to see Jagex officially embrace a fan-inspired project like this, especially with the reassurance of a clean monetization model.
