Heads up, CoD fans! Looks like Modern Warfare 4 is dropping a new map called Backstab, and get this – it's actually a super deep cut remake of Burgundy from Call of Duty 2, which came out way back in 2005. Yeah, that means this map's original version is literally older than most of the Gen Z and Alpha kids who'll be playing it this November! Apparently, the layout is almost identical, just re-themed from WW2 France to some snowy, possibly Russian, setting. Honestly, I'm torn; part of me thinks it's a bit lazy to constantly recycle maps, but another part finds it kinda cool they're digging into the really obscure stuff instead of just another Nuketown. It’s a smart move to introduce a whole new generation to these forgotten gems, giving them a fresh spin without losing that classic CoD feel.
