Guys, you won't believe this, but Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is getting *another* remake, cleverly called HoMM 3 Remake, and it's launching next year. What's even crazier is that we're *also* getting a brand new spiritual successor, HoMM: Olden Era, which is already in early access and due for 1.0 around the same time. After over a decade of absolutely nothing new for the series, it's genuinely hilarious that we're suddenly getting two HoMM games in the same year, with one being the same game for the third time! My brain can't even process this unexpected HoMM-a-thon; it's like waiting for a bus for hours and then two show up at once. While I'm hyped, I can't help but wonder if the HoMM 3 remake is really necessary when Olden Era seems to be doing the "spiritual successor" thing so well. Guess I better clear my calendar for some serious tactical adventuring!
