Open-city games are set in LA, New York or somewhere made up. Liberty Drive lets you drive The Mall, Anarkali, MM Alam Road and round Minar-e-Pakistan instead.

It's a top-down driving and hustle life-sim. You're Billa: one borrowed bike, one loan to clear. You start on deliveries for Chacha Sattar and soon find out delivery money was never going to be enough.

What's in it

  • A real street layout with one-way roads, roundabouts, signals and a traffic warden who unjams the chowk
  • Shift jobs: taxi, cargo, tanker, ambulance, school van, airport run and a baraat
  • Eight businesses to buy, from a paan khokha to a chai dhaba to the auto workshop, at Pakistani prices
  • An eight-chapter story in Roman Urdu, the way people actually talk, told in comic panels
  • Rides from a JD-80 and a rickshaw up to a Gorolla, with truck-art paint jobs
  • Minar-e-Pakistan, Badshahi Masjid, Lahore Fort, Data Darbar and Gaddafi Stadium hand-painted on the map
  • No ads, no internet needed
