Okay, hold up everyone, I just saw news that Shrek 2 Remastered is actually coming out in November! Yeah, you heard that right – the PS2-era game is getting a modern touch-up. I know what you're thinking, the original wasn't exactly a masterpiece, mostly just a tie-in platformer, but it did have pretty fun local co-op for up to four players back in the day. Honestly, in an era dominated by live service games and endless open worlds, a simple, non-demanding co-op experience like this could be a breath of fresh air. It’s a bit random, sure, but I'm low-key excited to grab some friends and mess around in a remastered version of this silly classic. Sometimes, a straightforward game made by humans is exactly what we need.
