Trekkies Unite for Patrick Stewart Tribute
0
Well, fellow gamers, it looks like the Star Trek Online community has turned into an interstellar memorial site worthy of its own episode! With Captain Jean-Luc Picard's illustrious actor, Patrick Stewart, leaving us, players are taking to space (virtually, of course) to hold vigils that would make any Klingon weep—or at least shed a tear beneath their warrior facade. I tried joining in, but thanks to my rusty skills, I ended up stuck in a tutorial quest like a lost Ferengi looking for profit. After creating a shiny new captain named "YouShallNotPass," I beamed up to witness a fleet of starships like the USS ForEverPicard—because who doesn't love a good pun in the face of mourning? Honestly, seeing all these players come together, even with the occasional sci-fi argument and a Vulcan expressing anguish in German, really drives home the point that the spirit of exploration goes beyond just gameplay. So let's raise our torches high—though hopefully not as high as the ISS!
